City of Blue Island Think Outside the Loop
A Fourth of July tradition returns to Blue Island, bringing families, friends, and neighbors together to celebrate our nation’s independence. The parade will run south from Prairie Street to Grove Street, through the heart of our historic Uptown business district beginning at noon – but the fun doesn’t stop there! The festivities continue later at our Waterfall Park, with a dazzling fireworks display over the falls beginning at 9 p.m.
Registration for the parade is open now!
The deadline to submit an application is June 14, 2024; the parade and fireworks are on July 4, 2024. The City of Blue Island reserves the right to deny applicants entry into the parade. If you have questions, please call the City Clerk’s office at 708-597-8603.
