The City of Blue Island has proposed an amendment to the Definitions and Schedule of Use Controls in the Zoning Code. Pursuant to the Zoning Code, the Blue Island Plan Commission has recommended the adoption of a comprehensive amendment to the use table. This proposed amendment only addresses the residential use category in existing zoning districts.
A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 6pm at Blue Island City Hall East Annex, 2434 Vermont Street in Blue Island, Ill.

The proposed amendment addresses multi-unit and group dwellings, provides new definitions for these uses and eliminate obsolete definitions.
