Established in 1909, the Blue Island Park District manages 12 public parks that are host to many summer and winter recreation programs.

- Perillo Park – Desplaines Street west of Vine Street
- Chris Disabato Park – Market Street and Greenwood Avenue
- Portland Playlot – Broadway Street and Chatham Street
- David E. Schultz-Triangular Lot: 127th and Mozart
- Bark Park: 119th Street West of Maple Street
