CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEES
Finance Committee is responsible for issues covering Fees, Investments, Budget and Capital Improvement Programming. Alderman Cantelo chairs the committee. Meetings are the Second Tuesday and Fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:15pm.
Judiciary Committee is responsible for issues covering Codes, City Legal Matters, Licenses, Subscription Communications, Insurance and Risk Management. Alderman Vargas chairs the committee. Meetings are on the First Tuesday of each month at 5:00pm in the Civil Service Conference Room in the City Hall East Annex.
Public Health and Safety Committee is responsible for issues covering Police and Fire and Emergency Services. Alderman Ostling chairs the committee. Meetings are on the Second Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall East Annex.
Municipal Services Committee is responsible for Roads, Bridges, Railroads, Parking, Sanitation, Recycling, Water and Sewers. Alderman Janko chairs the committee. Meetings are on the First Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall East Annex.
Community Development and Human Services Committee is responsible for Planning, Zoning, Land Use and Open Space, Building Department, Youth Services, Senior Citizens, Human Relations, Health and Economic Development. Alderman Natalino chairs the committee. Meetings are the First Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall East Annex.
Recreation Committee is responsible for recreational land use, recreation center, golf club, soccer fields and all recreation programs. Alderman Stone chairs the committee. Meetings are the First Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in the City Council Chambers Conference Room in the City Hall East Annex.
