Warming Centers & Contact Information

The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a weather advisory for dangerous cold temperatures until January 31, 2019. Potentially life threatening cold temperatures are expected by midweek, especially from late Tuesday through early Thursday.

The Blue Island Police Department will conduct well-being checks for the elderly (who are listed at the department).

Please make a special effort to check on neighbors, especially if they are seniors, people with special needs or living alone.
