National Night Out 2017

Lincoln Elementary to Centennial Park

Public Safety Director John D. Rita, Jr., with Aldermen Fred Bilotto, Kevin Donahue, Jairo Frausto, and Nancy Rita, cordially invite you to your neighborhood’s celebration of National Night Out on August 1, 2017.

Grab your bikes, flashlights, reflective gear, or simply walk alongside Blue Island’s police and emergency personnel through your neighborhood, culminating with a family-friendly celebration at Centennial Park.

Not able to join the walk? Participation is still easy and fun. Turn on your front door light, and join your friends and neighbors on your porches and lawns. One of the best deterrents of crime is when we know our neighbors, and the people who serve and protect us.
