As part of the Calumet Region (from the Indiana Dunes to Blue Island) becoming a National Heritage Area, the Field Museum is conducting Community Conversations. Topics covered to date are the Arts, Industry and History in the Calumet area. The next topic is Environmental Heritage in the Calumet Region.
