In honor of all souls day, join us as we pay respect to the deceased on Dia de los Muertos on November 2nd. The inaugural Dia de los Muertos Walk will take place in the heart of Blue Island on Western Avenue. November 2nd also marks National Stomach Cancer Awareness Day. In honor of Nancy Arenas, a Blue Island Native who lost a battle to stomach cancer, join us as we create awareness for the fourth most common cancer types worldwide and the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the world.
