The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has shown that only 14% of pupil achievement can be attributed to the quality of the school; 86% of achievement is driven by factors outside of the school. The Black Star Project is establishing a network of FREE Saturday University sites to help children and their families expand their academic interests and discover that learning is fun.
