Drivin’ the Dixie

The Dixie Highway is an Historic Route in the United States. And every year in Illinois about 200 enthusiasts hop in their classic cars to “Cruise” the Dixie from Blue Island to Momence.

The public is invited to kick off the Drivin’ the Dixie at the parking lot across from the Library to browse the classic cars and enjoy donuts and coffee.

TO DRIVE THE DIXIE:
For details about participating in the drive, including fees, visit www.drivingthedixie.com.  Participants will receive a passport for points of interests within the Dixie Highway communities, and can then explore the destinations at their leisure.
