D-Day Remembered: A Special Memorial Day Event

June 6th, 1944, is now known as World War II’s “Longest Day”. It started at 6:30am and ended at midnight with Allied forces having established a beachhead in German-occupied France. John ‘Doc’ Morrissy will take us through a visual exploration of D-Day with films and photos. Free tickets available at Blue Island Public Library main desk (708) 388-1078.
